Retraction notice to “Surface dose rate variations in planar and curved geometries of 106Ru/106Rh plaque sources for ocular tumors” [Phys. Med. 89 (2021) 200–209]

      This article has been retracted at the request of the Editor-in-Chief and Authors for the following reasons:
      1. In EBT3 film-based measurements of dose profiles at different depths involving a curved source, stack of films were placed below the source and both the source and the films were in contact geometry (Ref Figure 5b). However, in these measurements, air present in the curved region of the source was not filled with the film to represent clinical application. It is felt that the % dose distributions could be different when air region is filled with film as beta particles will be attenuated significantly.
      2. Similarly, the Monte Carlo-based depth dose calculations utilised similar geometry, i.e. air was present in the curved region of the source (Ref Figures 7 & 8).
