In November 2019, a novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) that causes severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS)-like symptoms was reported in Wuhan, China. The outbreak was soon declared a pandemic, infecting millions of people and causing nationwide lockdowns in more than 180 countries [1]. Malaysia was one of the countries affected by the pandemic; the first wave of infection started on January 24, 2020, and the second a month later. On March 18, 2020, the government imposed the Movement Control Order (MCO), which put the country on a partial lockdown [2,3].
